Work schedule is Monday to Friday with flexible hours between 6am - 6:30pm EST / 5am - 5:30pm CST.

As part of the Clinic Coding Team, collaborate with Certified Medical Coders (CPC) to complete coding of patient office visits and procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes, assign modifiers to procedures, ensure accuracy through collaboration with providers, serve as a coding consultant, identify discrepancies and billing issues, and timely enter office charges. Additional duties assigned as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year Orthopedic Clinic coding experience
  • CPC certification or equivalent required
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Preferred:

  • Experience with E&M coding
  • Ability to handle confidential matters responsibly
  • Ability to work in a multi-task, high-stress environment
