LaSalle Network is hiring a Part-Time Medical Coder to support a growing healthcare client needing flexible, detail-driven coding expertise. This role involves reviewing inpatient and outpatient medical records, assigning ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS codes accurately, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations, supporting DRG reconciliation and coding validation, handling specialty areas such as ED and same-day surgery, identifying and resolving documentation gaps, and maintaining high-quality coding standards and productivity.

Candidates must have CCS, CPC, or CIC certification, 1–3 years of inpatient and/or outpatient coding experience, strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, familiarity with DRG methodology and reimbursement practices, and strong attention to detail and communication skills.

The position offers a flexible, part-time remote schedule (not eligible in CA, ND, HI, AK, VT), an opportunity to expand coding experience across specialties, meaningful work-life balance, compensation at $32/hour, and eligibility for enrollment in LaSalle Network benefits.

Requirements & Qualifications

CCS, CPC, or CIC certification required
1 to 3 years of inpatient and/or outpatient coding experience
