We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Coding Specialist to perform accurate code assignments for facility outpatient, same day surgery, and observation records. - AHIMA or AAPC certification.
- Minimum of three years coding experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience accurately assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to outpatient records.
- Technical competency with remote-based connectivity including virtual private networks, multi-factor authentication via smartphone, and video conferencing platforms.
- Proficiency with office software including Outlook email, calendar, and Excel.
- Committed regular schedule with reliable and punctual attendance.
- Meet client productivity targets while maintaining coding quality of 95% or greater.
