LaSalle Network is hiring an Inpatient Coder – Rehab for a leading healthcare client seeking detail-oriented coding professionals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment and is confident navigating inpatient rehab documentation and coding complexities.
Responsibilities include:
- Assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for inpatient rehab cases
- Review clinical documentation to code diagnoses, procedures, and EM levels
- Code surgical CPT and Profee Anesthesia cases as applicable
- Validate MS-DRG and APC assignments
- Abstract clinical data for billing and reporting
- Resolve coding-related claims edits and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with providers and client teams for documentation clarity
Qualifications:
- Active AHIMA or AAPC credential (RHIT, CCS, CPC, etc.)
- 1+ year of recent inpatient coding experience (within last 6 months)
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, PCS, and CPT coding
- Ability to maintain 95% coding accuracy
- Cerner experience required
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
- $38/hour pay rate
- Fully remote flexibility (not eligible in CA, ND, HI, AK, VT)
