What You'll Be Doing
- Code inpatient accounts through assigned work queues (no cherry-picking)
- Utilize EPIC and 360 Encoder systems daily
- Review complex hospital medical records and assign accurate ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes
- Ensure coding compliance with regulatory and payer guidelines
- Meet productivity and quality standards
- Focus on inpatient facility coding specialties including Orthopedics, Neurology, Interventional Radiology (IR)
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of inpatient coding experience
- Experience with a large healthcare system (Level II Trauma Center preferred)
- Strong tenure / employment stability
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong attention to detail and coding accuracy
Required Certifications (one of the following):
- CCS
- RHIT
- HEMA
- AAPC / CPC / related coding credential
Schedule
- Flexible start time between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Must be available to work Pacific Time Zone hours
