What You'll Be Doing

Code inpatient accounts through assigned work queues (no cherry-picking)
Utilize EPIC and 360 Encoder systems daily
Review complex hospital medical records and assign accurate ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes
Ensure coding compliance with regulatory and payer guidelines
Meet productivity and quality standards
Focus on inpatient facility coding specialties including Orthopedics, Neurology, Interventional Radiology (IR)

What We're Looking For

3+ years of inpatient coding experience
Experience with a large healthcare system (Level II Trauma Center preferred)
Strong tenure / employment stability
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Strong attention to detail and coding accuracy

Required Certifications (one of the following):

CCS
RHIT
HEMA
AAPC / CPC / related coding credential

Schedule

Flexible start time between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Must be available to work Pacific Time Zone hours
