The Orthopedic Surgery Coder will work as part of the Surgery Coding Team to accurately code surgical procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes, assign procedure modifiers, and collaborate closely with physicians and office staff. This role serves as a subject matter expert and coding consultant to providers, identifying discrepancies and billing issues, entering coding charges timely, and working closely with coding/billing teams and other departments.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday with flexible hours between 6am - 6:30pm EST.

- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of Orthopedic Surgery coding experience
- CPC certification or equivalent required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with additional MS Office programs like Forms, Access, PowerPoint
- Ability to handle confidential matters responsibly
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, high-stress environment
