The Coding Network, LLC (TCN) is the premier broker of remote coding and auditing services, connecting healthcare professionals and health systems across the US with over 800 single specialty coders and auditors. E&M services are their largest and fastest growing specialty with over 250 coders and auditors.
This position supports the growing need for E&M services by joining the external E&M audit team. Auditors review E&M coding provided by TCN's OBGYN clients, assess accuracy, and discuss errors using supporting guidelines. Clients offer a wide range of cases in various settings nationwide, providing a challenging environment to test and enhance your auditing skills. High-quality educational and support teams help develop auditors to their full potential.
Auditors enjoy flexible hours, working as few as 15 hours a week or more, with the freedom to schedule work beyond traditional business hours. This role offers an excellent opportunity for extra income or a more significant commitment, all from home.
Requirements for OBGYN Auditors include:
- Minimum of five years of OBGYN E&M specific coding experience
- Active CPMA coding certification or ability to obtain within the first year
- Residence and work authorization in the United States
- Successful completion of TCN's OBGYN E&M Auditing exam and specialty coding exam
- Minimum of five (5) years of OBGYN E&M specific coding experience
- Active CPMA coding certification or obtain within the first year contracting at TCN
- Must live and work in the United States
- Must take and pass TCN’s OBGYN E&M Auditing exam plus a specialty coding exam
