You will report to the Senior Manager, Medical Coding & Audit, and work as a Senior Medical Coding Analyst. Your responsibilities include ensuring high coding quality, reviewing and enhancing coding processes, collaborating with Machine Learning, Product, and Customer Implementation teams, and communicating complex coding issues to varied stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include analyzing customer coding workflows to optimize platform use, assisting with Coding Quality Assessment projects, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in medical coding and billing, developing training materials, staying current with coding changes through certification and education, ensuring compliance, and supporting customer implementation efforts.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years coding and auditing experience with progressive responsibility
- Current AHIMA or AAPC coding credential held for 5+ years
- Required certification: CPC, CCS, and/or CIRCC (radiology-specific)
- Experience in CPT coding for pathology; radiology experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with executives, directors, and technical teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Critical thinking, creativity in problem-solving, team-oriented with a positive demeanor
Location is hybrid/remote based in Boston, MA.
