This role reports to the Director of Revenue Cycle and involves extracting diagnosis codes, including HCC codes, and CPT codes from hospital records. The coder reviews medical records to verify accurate disease condition reporting, follows coding guidelines, ensures compliance with government and federal regulations, and meets quality and productivity standards. The candidate will maintain communication with management about coding workload and deliverables, maintain at least 95% accuracy, and engage in professional development through seminars and certifications.

- Current coding certification such as CPC, CRC, or CCS through AAPC and/or AHIMA
- Minimum 2-3 years of coding experience
- Preferred: Risk adjustment experience and specific knowledge of HCC coding
The role is hybrid, requiring office work at 1680 S Garfield Avenue, Alhambra, CA, as well as remote work on a weekly basis.
