The Associate Clinical Admin role supports management of ancillary referral processes, including handling orders and prior authorizations. Acts as the primary contact for referrals to ensure timely and accurate patient information about appointments, services, and supplies. Contributes to efficient care coordination and supports operational workflows improving patient access to medical services, maintaining referral integrity and supporting billing and compliance processes.

Responsibilities include managing incoming and outgoing ancillary orders and prior authorizations; serving as primary contact for client and vendor referral communications; determining necessity of authorizations and scheduling patient appointments; using automated tools to research rules and verify patient eligibility; ordering supplies and durable medical equipment through vendors ensuring correct billing entries; maintaining productivity by completing average of 10 orders daily; following protocols to handle task requests and provide relevant service information.

Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience; at least 18 years old; minimum 1 year office, claims, or customer service experience; proficiency with Windows PC applications and ability to learn complex systems; ability to work full-time (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm EST) with occasional overtime/weekend flexibility.

Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes; experience in call center or metric-driven environment.

Telecommuting requirements: Dedicated private work area at home; approved high-speed internet connection; ability to securely handle sensitive documents.

Compensation: Hourly rate $16.15 to $28.80 (varies by location, education, experience).
