Senior Medical Facilities Biller & Coder

We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Facilities Biller & Coder to support billing and coding operations for our outpatient surgery center specializing in Orthopedics and Pain Management. This hybrid role requires advanced knowledge of ASC-specific facility billing and coding, payer regulations, and reimbursement methodologies related to surgical and interventional pain procedures.

Key responsibilities include coding and billing for orthopedic surgeries and pain management procedures, reviewing operative reports to assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes, preparing and submitting UB-04 facility claims, ensuring charge capture for various procedures, applying modifiers and payer-specific rules, researching and resolving denials and underpayments, ensuring compliance with CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA, posting remittances and monitoring accounts receivable, and insurance verification with patient notification of responsibility.
