HCC Medical Coder

Arida-Tech is seeking experienced and detail-oriented HCC Coders to join our growing Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. This is a fully remote opportunity for certified coders located within the United States who are skilled in Risk Adjustment Coding and CMS-HCC models.

Key job duties include reviewing and analyzing patient medical records for accurate HCC coding, assigning appropriate ICD-10-CM codes following CMS Risk Adjustment guidelines, validating documentation for code assignment and RAF score optimization, identifying coding opportunities and documentation gaps, ensuring compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and Risk Adjustment standards, and collaborating with internal RCM teams.

Candidates must have active certification (CPC, CRC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA), proven experience in HCC/Risk Adjustment coding, strong knowledge of CMS-HCC models and ICD-10-CM guidelines, and be located within the United States.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Medicare Advantage charts, familiarity with RAF score optimization strategies, and prior remote coding experience.

Compensation is on a pay-per-chart basis with competitive rates. This position offers complete remote work flexibility and a supportive remote work environment with secure, HIPAA-compliant systems.

Experience required: Minimum 2 years in Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding.
