Patient Records Abstractor IV role performing auditing of physician-based coding records.
Experience recommended in Emergency Department, Hematology, Oncology, Cardiology, Cardiac Cath, IVR, Endocrinology, Neurology, Plastic Surgery, Nephrology.
Ideal candidate has 5+ years of physician coding experience, comfortable presenting to coders and physicians, and experience meeting with physicians.
Academic setting experience preferred.
Must be a certified coder (CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA, etc.). Certification specialties in the departments above and certification in auditing are a plus.
Hours: Day shift 5x8-hour (08:00 - 17:00).
Pay rate provided as $66.46 per hour.
