- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required; Certified Outpatient Coder is a plus.
- Experience supporting reimbursement for innovative medical technologies and handling claims, denials, and appeals.
- Deep knowledge of revenue codes, behavioral health and neurology coding, outpatient hospital settings, and novel technologies adoption.
- Familiarity with Category III CPT codes, prior authorization, appeals, and CMS review timelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiar with EMR/EHR and billing platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to educate various provider audiences.
- Strong analytical and independent thinking skills to provide strategic reimbursement recommendations.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory environment and compliance obligations.
- Preferred familiarity with neuromodulation, behavioral health, psychiatry, or TMS.
