Experienced coder needed for our high volume cardiac and vascular surgeon practice.
Code and post all hospital charges daily using the current CPT and ICD-10 guidelines from surgical reports.
Code all hospital charges in a timely manner.
Follow up, research and correct all coding related denials or issues within a timely manner.
Maintain and update as necessary all codes, including both procedure and diagnosis, used by the providers and staff on a yearly basis.
Report coding changes to the billing manager.
Requirements & Qualifications
AAPC certification
Electronic Medical Records experience
Vascular E&M and Surgery coding experience.
