Radiology Coding Specialist

MSN Healthcare Solutions, LLC is a leading national medical billing and practice management company supporting over 100 physician group practices with innovative and compliant revenue cycle services. This role reports to the Coding Manager and the Director of the Radiology Coding Department. The Radiology Coding Specialist is responsible for monitoring and reconciling coding and charge processes in the Imagine system for assigned client accounts.

Duties include ensuring accurate and timely coding and billing according to company policies, maintaining client specification documents, communicating with internal coding staff, offshore partners, and clients to address coding updates, problems, or educational needs. The specialist must maintain required coding certifications and participate in ongoing training including monthly webinars and annual meetings.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of radiology coding experience, proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding systems, knowledge of CMS rules and LCDs, and preferably hold active coding certification from AAPC, RCCB, or AHIMA. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication, and ability to work independently or as part of a team in a high-volume environment are required.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completed medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, or related coursework
  • Minimum 3 years of radiology coding experience required
  • Coding certification (AAPC, RCCB, AHIMA) preferred; uncertified candidates must obtain certification within 12 months
  • Proficiency with CPT and ICD-10 coding, CMS rules, and LCDs
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage assignments
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
