KVH is an integrated healthcare delivery system providing emergency care, inpatient and outpatient hospital services, and various clinics such as family medicine, internal medicine, geriatric nurse practitioner programs, home health, hospice, physical therapy, orthopedics, general surgery, pediatrics, women’s health, and urgent care.
The Medical Record Coder will accurately code inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patient records using current coding methodologies and will cross-train to other Health Information Management positions.

High School Diploma or GED required.
Certification required: RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, or CCA from AHIMA or AAPC.
Preferred: One year coding experience in a hospital setting.
