Certified Coding Specialist - Professional Cardiology Coding

INTEGRIS Health Cardiovascular Physicians, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a Certified Coding Specialist in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time position involves working Monday through Friday during daytime hours. The role focuses on analyzing clinical and demographic information from health records and assigning appropriate ICD-10 codes in compliance with CMS, state, and other regulatory agencies. The position requires maintaining knowledge of coding guidelines and federal regulations, performing documentation queries, and demonstrating basic knowledge of the revenue cycle.

Qualifications require certifications such as CCA, CDIP, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CPC-A. Requirements & Qualifications

Candidates must hold one of the following certifications: Certified Coding Associate (CCA), Certified Documentation Improvement Specialist (CDIP), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Professional Coder Apprentice (CPC-A).

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, coding systems, and the disease process is required.

Proficiency with computer applications such as Windows, Excel, hospital information systems, and coding encoders is necessary.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
