Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Inpatient Coding Manager with coding questions from teammates, assigning work queues, and more.
- Work the coding manager review queue.
- Monitor the waiting for information queue.
- Work the unrelated accounts queue.
- Assist other coders as needed.
- Provide on-site coder assistance as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Strong background in Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology.
- RHIT, RHIA, and/or CCS credential required.
