Faculty Practice Plan Services (FPPS) has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time day shift Coding Specialist 2. This remote position involves identifying billable professional fee services across multiple sources (EPIC, ORCA, Mindscape) for admissions, discharges, ambulatory procedures, visits, and more. Responsibilities include coding using CPT & ICD-10, resolving coding denials and claim edits in Epic, consulting physicians to verify and improve documentation and coding accuracy, and assisting with questions related to professional fees.

High school diploma or equivalent. Certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist – Physician Based (CCS-P), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Coder (CIRCC), Radiology Certified Coder (RCC), or Radiation Oncology Certified Coder (ROCC). Minimum of two years coding experience or equivalent education/experience.
