Coder - Revenue Cycle

The Coding Specialist is a functional member of Revenue Cycle at PacMed. The Specialist is an entry-level coding professional responsible for the timely, accurate, and comprehensive review of provider claims to optimize reimbursement and ensure compliance with regulatory statutes. The role includes working with the department to identify trends and educational opportunities for providers to ensure proper coding, documentation, and billing accuracy within specialty areas.

The position is hybrid onsite at PACMED Admin Bh-Seattle, located at 1200 12th Ave S, Seattle, WA, and offers pay in an hourly range with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials and bonuses.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • National Certification from American Academy of Professional Coders upon hire
  • National Certification from American Health Information Management Association upon hire
  • Minimum 1 year of coding-related experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program for Medical Coding
  • 2 years of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding experience for clinic and hospital-based inpatient and outpatient professional billing
