IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is a leading outpatient Physical & Hand Therapy provider in the Pacific Northwest, emphasizing community impact and employee support.
The Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist handles daily medical billing tasks, fosters relationships through excellent service to clinical staff and patients, and supports billing operations.
The position offers a hybrid schedule with two remote days and three days onsite at the IRG Admin Office.
Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to resolve billing issues, communicating with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance representatives, generating and analyzing billing reports, addressing claim denials and appeals, maintaining accounts receivable, and improving billing processes. Participation in billing system upgrades is also expected.
Qualified candidates have at least one year of medical billing experience, knowledge of CPT, ICD10, HCPCS codes, familiarity with EHR and practice management systems, strong organizational and data entry skills, and ability to work independently and in teams.
Physical demands include prolonged use of video display terminals, and occasional bending, reaching, squatting, lifting, sitting, and standing. Transportation to the onsite clinic is required.

- Minimum 1+ years of medical billing experience preferred
