BlueSprig is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle team. This entry-level role focuses on medical billing and collections and supports accurate and timely insurance claim processing.
Key responsibilities include billing insurance companies, entering data accurately, reviewing EOBs and appealing incorrect payments, managing accounts, communicating with payers and patients, resubmitting claims, and other job-related duties.
Candidates should have strong organizational skills, knowledge of Excel, familiarity with ICD-10, CPT coding, HCFA 1500 claim forms, and experience with rejected claims, denials, and appeals. One or more years of direct electronic medical billing and collections experience is required. Experience with ABA billing and denial letters is preferred.
