Renaissance Behavioral Health is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medicaid & Commercial Insurance Billing Specialist to join our growing team. This role is essential to ensuring the financial health of our organization while supporting our mission to provide high-quality behavioral health services.
The Billing Specialist will manage the full cycle of insurance billing, including Medicaid and commercial payers. Responsibilities include submitting, tracking, and managing claims; utilizing AdvancedMD (EHR), Availity, and Medicaid provider portals for billing and account management; performing insurance verification; managing claim denials, rejections, and appeals; managing provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes; maintaining compliance with payer guidelines and regulatory requirements; and collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues.
Qualifications include 2+ years of experience in behavioral health or medical billing, proven experience with AdvancedMD, Availity, and Provider Network Management (PNM), strong knowledge of Medicaid and commercial insurance billing practices, experience with denial management and appeals, familiarity with provider credentialing, excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
