CHC Solutions, Inc. is seeking a passionate Health Care Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Toccoa, GA.
The company provides medical supplies to patients with a focus on outstanding customer service, verifying insurance coverage, shipping supplies, and billing insurance.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring accurate and timely payment for prescribed medical supplies through insurance
- Complying with government regulations and professional standards for patient care
- Maintaining a professional and empathetic attitude with customers
- Reviewing and reconciling underpaid claims
- Applying correct write-off codes and reporting pricing discrepancies
- Correcting and resubmitting rejected claims
- Tracking unprocessed claims and following up with payers
- Contacting patients, physicians, and internal teams for documentation
- Identifying non-reimbursable claims and applying write-off codes
- Monitoring and resolving outstanding accounts receivable
- Escalating payer issues and submitting appeals for denied claims
- Responding to patient billing inquiries following HIPAA and debt collection laws
- Coordinating professionally with other departments to resolve claims
Qualifications:
- Healthcare Administration certificate, bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years relevant experience
- Minimum 1 year experience with health care accounts receivable or equivalent education
- Preferably experienced in durable medical equipment or health care
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Committed to high-quality, error-free work
