Accounts Receivable Specialist

CHC Solutions, Inc. is seeking a passionate Health Care Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Toccoa, GA.

The company provides medical supplies to patients with a focus on outstanding customer service, verifying insurance coverage, shipping supplies, and billing insurance.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring accurate and timely payment for prescribed medical supplies through insurance
• Complying with government regulations and professional standards for patient care
• Maintaining a professional and empathetic attitude with customers
• Reviewing and reconciling underpaid claims
• Applying correct write-off codes and reporting pricing discrepancies
• Correcting and resubmitting rejected claims
• Tracking unprocessed claims and following up with payers
• Contacting patients, physicians, and internal teams for documentation
• Identifying non-reimbursable claims and applying write-off codes
• Monitoring and resolving outstanding accounts receivable
• Escalating payer issues and submitting appeals for denied claims
• Responding to patient billing inquiries following HIPAA and debt collection laws
• Coordinating professionally with other departments to resolve claims

Qualifications:

• Healthcare Administration certificate, bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years relevant experience
• Minimum 1 year experience with health care accounts receivable or equivalent education
• Preferably experienced in durable medical equipment or health care
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Committed to high-quality, error-free work
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
