Medical Accounts Receivable Representative

Compensation Package:

• $18.00/hour plus monthly commission

Position Summary:

Seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Billing Representative to support clients in medical billing and collections, focusing on follow-up of unpaid or underpaid claims while ensuring excellent service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inbound and outbound calls to follow up on claims
• Contact insurance companies regarding unpaid or underpaid claims
• Prepare detailed appeals to challenge claim denials or underpayments
• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries
• Use Practice Management systems and payer portals efficiently
• Navigate Explanation of Benefits and insurance correspondence
• Meet daily productivity goals
• Additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Preferred experience in revenue cycle office operations in orthopedics, pain management, spine surgery, plastic surgery, Federal No Surprises Act, out-of-network, or Medevolve

Qualifications:

• Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Positive, outgoing personality with a can-do attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Analytical mindset
• Self-motivated and eager to stay updated with industry trends
