This role is hybrid based in Lenexa, KS, requiring three days in office and two days optional remote work.
As a Healthcare Data Analyst, you will partner with hospital staff, clinical leaders, and internal stakeholders to analyze and interpret complex clinical, operational, and financial healthcare data. Your insights will drive improvements in patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets to uncover trends, collaborating with subject matter experts, designing tailored analytical solutions, validating data quality, ensuring compliance with data governance policies, supporting data access for hospital staff, and delivering training on data utilization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years healthcare data analysis experience
- Understanding of hospital operations, revenue cycle, quality outcomes, or clinical workflows
- Experience working with healthcare claims, EHR extracts, clinical registries, or administrative data
- Knowledge of healthcare terminologies and classification systems (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED CT, LOINC, etc.)
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency with BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Preferred experience with analytical tools (Python, R, SAS) and EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
- Familiarity with value-based care, population health, and CMS quality measures
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
