Responsibilities include reviewing and processing applications for licenses related to mental health services, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. Collaborate with mental health professionals to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Conduct research on licensing requirements and updates in behavioral health. Maintain accurate records of licensed professionals and their credentials, including data collection for reporting purposes. Provide guidance and support to staff regarding licensing procedures and requirements. Assist in crisis management situations by providing appropriate resources and referrals as needed. Participate in training sessions related to cognitive behavioral therapy and child family counseling as required. Stay informed about ICD-10 coding updates relevant to mental health services.
Qualifications include a background in mental health counseling, social work, or related field preferred. Experience in patient care or behavioral health settings is highly desirable. Strong research skills with ability to interpret regulatory guidelines. Familiarity with crisis management techniques and data collection methods is essential. Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
