We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role requires expertise in various therapeutic techniques and the ability to work collaboratively with clients to develop effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs, providing individual and group counseling sessions using techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans for clients including those with PTSD, addiction, or behavioral health issues, managing crisis intervention services, maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA, collaborating with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care including case management and referrals, participating in mental health research initiatives, and staying updated on ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must hold a valid license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent licensure. Experience in psychotherapy, child & family counseling, and behavioral therapy preferred. Familiarity with home & community care settings and hospital experience is advantageous. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and effective medical records management. Proven skills in crisis intervention, addiction counseling, clinical counseling, and case management. Experience with group therapy facilitation and applied behavior analysis is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage clients from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in patient care.
