Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Coding Technician within our Clinic Coding Department. CMH consists of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Services include acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies, and more, covering the community comprehensively.

The Clinic Coding department provides precise and appropriate coding of patient encounters for reimbursement and statistical purposes.
Typical duties include overseeing daily coding staff functions, evaluating workload, identifying incomplete tasks, developing action plans with direction from Coding Supervisor 2, and assisting staff with problem solving and workflow systems development.
- Graduate of an approved Health Information Management/Technology program preferred
- 1 year of direct coding experience in a health system preferred
- Accredited certification such as RHIA, RHIT, or CCS required
