We are hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Consultant to join our dynamic team. The role involves managing the accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining positive relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of billing processes with a passion for accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities include analyzing outstanding invoices, identifying discrepancies, resolving issues to optimize cash flow, training office managers in billing Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, supplemental plans, Hospice and Private payers, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, developing best practices for invoice management and collections, reviewing accounts to identify delinquent accounts, collaborating with departments to resolve billing discrepancies, and preparing detailed AR performance reports.
The position requires willingness to travel in the San Jose/Livermore area up to 75% of the time. This is an on-the-road role with significant impact on financial operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or financial consulting with a proven track record in skilled nursing billing
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Experience with Point-Click Care EMR system (2 years required)
- Experience as Business Office Manager in Skilled Nursing Facility (5 years required)
- Skilled in in-house billings/collections for all payers (5 years required)
- Strong understanding of AR principles and practices
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be willing to travel 75% in San Jose/Livermore area
