The Senior Quality Specialist is responsible for operationalizing quality improvement strategies across the organization by translating performance data into actionable initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes and optimize value-based revenue. This role partners with the Associate Vice President of Value-Based Care & Population Health to track performance metrics, drive timely interventions, and coordinate care gap closures. It involves working cross-functionally to improve workflows, efficiency, and support population health and value-based care initiatives.
Key responsibilities include coordinating quality improvement initiatives, supporting clinical and operational teams in improving quality performance, executing population health outreach, analyzing care gap data, developing workflow guides and training materials, and supporting quality metric needs including coding, data validation, and reporting enhancements.
Qualifications require a bachelor's degree (preferably in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related), 3–5 years of relevant experience with data analytics and performance reporting, experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, strong knowledge of healthcare quality metrics, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience with value-based care models, population health strategies, and understanding of coding and risk adjustment principles is preferred.
The position is based in a professional office environment in Chicago, requires effective communication, occasional local travel, and may involve some evening or weekend work.

Salary range: $68,000 6, $74,000 annually.
