Tactical Evacuation Abstractor (Analyst)

The Tactical Evacuation Abstractor (Analyst) is responsible for collecting, verifying, and entering trauma patient data related to evacuations from the Point of Injury (POI) to various medical care levels, following DoD trauma registry guidelines. Duties include abstracting evacuation flight data, maintaining critical medical records such as Patient Care Records (PCRs) and Patient Movement Records (PMRs), ensuring secure documentation storage in the DoD Theater Medical Data Store (TMDS), providing quality assurance on data, monitoring productivity and data quality, generating reports, and supporting secure classified information protocols.

The role requires collaboration with JTS Chief and Chief Data Scientist to develop action plans for the Tactical Evacuation (TACEVAC) process across continuum of care. Additional administrative support includes monitoring security procedures, assisting with classified material handling, and maintaining secure environments as directed.

Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and additional benefits subject to change.

Requirements include a Master's Degree and a minimum of four years of progressive experience demonstrating required proficiency. The position requires an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one and must be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.
