Responsibilities include reviewing hospital outpatient facility OBS and ambulatory surgery medical records and accurately coding them, meeting high quality and productivity standards, collaborating with inpatient coders and managers to meet client needs, and maintaining active coding certifications through continuing education.

Requirements include current CCS, RHIA, RHIT (AHIMA) or CPC (AAPC) coding credentials, 3+ years in OBS and ambulatory surgery facility coding, high-speed internet and workstation access, and US residency. Epic experience is a plus.
