Requirements & Qualifications
What you'll bring
- 2+ years of medical billing experience in plastic surgery
- Solid knowledge of common plastic surgery procedures and the differences between cosmetic and reconstructive billing
- Strong A/R management, charge posting, and denial follow-up skills
- Working knowledge of ICD-10 coding and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
- Experience with ModMed (EMA) is a plus
- Strong communication skills and comfort serving as the face of the account to clients
- Self-starter with attention to detail and interest in taking on greater responsibility
