With a team of more than 800 people, HealthMark Group provides tech-enabled solutions that help health systems, hospitals, FQHCs, provider-led networks, and other care providers release medical records to the right patient.
This role supports the release of information process by handling medical record requests in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The position also includes answering patient questions and requests by phone, monitoring incoming requests from various sources, and completing general office duties.
The job is remote and reports to the Processing Manager. The team focuses on making health information more accessible to patients and supporting the healthcare ecosystem.
This is an entry-level role.
- Process medical record requests
- Work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Assist with overflow processing and coverage needs
- Maintain confidentiality of PHI and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Process assigned requests within 24-48 hours of receipt
- Provide feedback on request volume and issues
- Monitor incoming requests received through various channels
- Answer patient questions and requests via phone
- Complete all required company-sponsored and regulatory training
