The CVS Health Women’s Health and Genomics team is part of the Enterprise Medical Affairs organization and is focused on advancing clinical quality standards, improving access to care, reducing costs, and supporting better patient outcomes across the enterprise.
This remote role may be performed in any U.S. time zone, with support for PST business hours preferred.
In this role, you will lead advanced analytics and clinical informatics efforts, including modeling clinical and claims data, generating actionable insights, and supporting strategic initiatives across Women’s Health and Genomics. You will also help identify opportunities to develop and deploy AI/ML solutions that improve workflows, administrative efficiency, quality, cost, and access.
Key responsibilities include analyzing claims, utilization, and clinical data; exploring structured and unstructured datasets; developing reports and dashboards; partnering cross-functionally to identify needs and mitigate risk; supporting data governance; and working with enterprise AI, data science, and technology teams to deploy scalable AI solutions into production workflows.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, finance, or strategy
- 2+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied NLP
- Experience in a clinical analytics environment, preferably in women’s health and genomics
- Knowledge of clinical diagnostic and billing coding systems and terminologies such as ICD-10 and CPT
- Strong knowledge of reimbursement models and claims-based analytics
- Advanced BI and statistical analysis skills with experience using ML platforms
- Experience handling PHI in compliance with HIPAA and related privacy/security laws
- Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in matrixed teams and adapt as needed
- Preferred: Python and SQL proficiency for large-scale healthcare datasets
- Preferred: Experience with Aetna Applications / Enterprise Data Warehouse / Power User level tools
- Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools such as ThoughtSpot or Tableau
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, biostatistics, computer science, data science, mathematics, biomedical informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience
