Epic Denials Management Operator

Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice to support hospital denials management and back-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services, including billing and claims submission, A/R follow-up, denials management, payment posting, and credits and refunds for healthcare provider clients. This role is primarily remote, with minimal travel and scheduled onsite time as needed.

You will support denial review and processing for third-party payer remittances, perform denial categorization and root cause analysis, communicate with client and hospital stakeholders, contact payers through portals and phone calls, and develop and submit denial appeal letters. You will also rebill corrected claims, route issues to the appropriate teams, provide documentation to resolve denials, and document all research and follow-up in EMR and patient accounting systems.

The role also includes reviewing AR aging reports and work queues to identify unpaid or delayed claims, following up on open denials and appeals, and resolving issues related to eligibility, authorizations, claim edits, coordination of benefits, and missing documentation.
