Senior Business Analyst (Medical Billing/Coding)

Provides senior-level support for the intake and interpretation of regulatory and functional requirements related to coverage, reimbursement, and processing functions to support systems solutions development and maintenance.

This role coordinates with stakeholders and subject matter experts, supports governance committees, and helps ensure business requirements are documented, aligned, and translated into operational and system solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining requirement documents for coverage, reimbursement, and system changes.
• Monitoring regulatory sources and partnering with operational leaders on process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Leading requirement review processes and coordinating with key partner organizations.
• Translating customer and business needs into application and operational requirements.
• Communicating requirement changes and interpretations to impacted teams for alignment and approvals.
• Supporting interpretation inconsistencies, complaints, and solution traceability.
• Assisting with solution standards and best practices across states and products.
• Reporting on work efforts and the financial impact of requirement changes.
• Coordinating analysis, impact assessment, and implementation of product changes.
• Working with operations leadership and plan support functions on compliance-based issues.
