Responsible for a variety of medical records functions, including record organization, accuracy and completeness checks, scanning, uploading, training, and record auditing. Works with staff, insurance companies, attorneys, and others regarding records-related issues.
This position is onsite at 233 Main St., New Britain, CT 06051, and follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid DMV license
- At least 1 year of experience in record management, filing, or equivalent medical office records work preferred
- Experience and/or training with agency accreditation and HIPAA required
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Intermediate experience with Adobe
- Experience using client databases and linked clinical business applications, including EMR systems
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
