Assist the Health Information Department in developing and maintaining an efficient electronic medical records system that supports quality patient care.
This role involves handling medical record documentation, scanning and routing information in the electronic medical record, supporting medical chart reviews, and helping maintain the integrity and confidentiality of health information processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience required; one year of medical records experience preferred
- Typing and keyboarding skills are helpful
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position
- Must meet attendance requirements
- Must not pose a threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service internally and externally
