Position Summary
- Files patient records and reports in chronological order.
- Retrieves and distributes patient medical records for medical staff review.
- Posts test reports and other correspondence to medical records and documents lab results when appropriate.
- Prints patient information and forwards it to requesting parties or referring physicians after receiving appropriate consent to release medical records.
- Checks reports and/or print images in and out; burns CDs and/or prints images to paper/file as requested.
- Imports digital outside images into PACS when necessary.

- On-site in Nashville, TN.
- Day/1st shift.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Computer experience required.
- Experience with medical files preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to file correctly by alphabetic or numeric system.
- Knowledge of medical records tasks, clinic procedures, medical terminology, and paperwork processing requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with physicians, facility staff, patients, and families.
