NaphCare is hiring a Medical Records Clerk to support correctional healthcare services at the Hamilton County Justice Center in Cincinnati, OH.
In this role, you will work alongside correctional officers and medical professionals to maintain, organize, and process inmates' medical records. This position involves a mix of clerical, records management, and communication duties in a correctional healthcare environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in stressful environments and adapt to challenging conditions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Must comply with facility policies, procedures, HIPAA, and legal requirements
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks
