Datavant is a healthcare data collaboration platform focused on making health data secure, accessible, and actionable across the healthcare ecosystem. This role supports release of information (ROI) operations by processing medical record requests accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with privacy and HIPAA requirements.
This is a full-time hybrid position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST, and will be performed on-site in Portland, Oregon. The role involves processing medical records, taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys regarding records status, and documenting information across multiple platforms.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic computer proficiency
- Comfortable using phones, fax machines, printers, and other general office equipment
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to commute between locations as needed
- Ability to work overtime during peak seasons when required
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Previous production- or metric-based work experience
- In-person customer service experience
- Ability to build relationships with on-site clients and customers
- Comfort sharing process improvement ideas and feedback
