Comfort Medical, a wholly owned subsidiary of Coloplast, is hiring a Medical Records Specialist to join its growing team in or near Denver, CO.
This role focuses on working with medical facilities and provider offices to collect medical record documentation, manage medical files, and scan records into the database. The position also supports customer service, documentation review, and compliance with Medicare and federal/state regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Clerical skills, including proficiency with data entry and computer programs
- English/Spanish bilingual preferred
- Willingness to engage in telephone direct sales
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Call center experience preferred due to heavy phone-based customer interaction
- Ability to comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and the Advamed Code of Ethics
