Key responsibilities include admissions and insurance verification, census management, financial reporting to the Controller, and handling Medicaid redeterminations. The role also involves maintaining accurate billing and reporting records for the facility.
Strong leadership skills.
3+ years of experience in a long-term care facility or skilled nursing setting.
Strong knowledge of billing procedures, Medicare/Medicaid rules, and managed care guidelines.
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience with electronic medical records and financial software systems such as PCC or MatrixCare preferred.
