Access Medical Laboratories is a large specialty diagnostic lab focused on delivering next-day results with advanced, ultra-automated testing across blood, saliva, and urine samples.
The Chemistry Supervisor role supports cost accounting, inventory accounting, financial analysis, and collaboration with Purchasing. The position is also responsible for providing guidance and support to the Inventory team, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, timely financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP.
This role partners with finance and operational leaders to improve processes, reporting, and decision-making, and participates in cross-functional projects such as ERP optimization, reporting automation, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, manufacturing accounting, or financial analysis preferred
- Public accounting experience is a plus
- FP&A experience is a plus
- CPA designation or CPA candidate is a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using ERP systems
- Experience with NetSuite and Fishbowl preferred
- Experience in healthcare, laboratory, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
