Titusville Area Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Dental Billing Specialist to join its Patient Financial Services team.
In this role, you will process insurance claims, follow up on outstanding accounts, assist patients and insurance companies, and help ensure billing is accurate and timely.
This is an in-person position based in Titusville, PA.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of recent medical billing experience within the past 3 years
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous dental billing experience
- Knowledge of medical coding, insurance billing, and third-party payer processes
- Familiarity with business office procedures and healthcare reimbursement
Experience Preferences
- Dentrix: 1 year preferred
- Dental billing: 1 year preferred
