Wells Family Dental Group is seeking an experienced Dental Claims Specialist to support its 9 locations around Raleigh.
This role focuses on dental claims processing, payment posting, denial follow-up, and communication with insurance companies to help secure payment on outstanding claims.
The position is fast-paced and requires strong attention to detail and efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with dental insurance
- Knowledge of dental codes and terminology
- Experience inputting payments, including checks, EFTs, and virtual credit card payments
- Understanding of insurance EOBs, payment processing, network write-offs, and patient responsibility
- Ability to research claim denials and communicate with insurance companies verbally and in writing
- Ability to write appeal letters and follow up on old claims
- Ability to commute to Raleigh, NC 27616
