Field Reimbursement and Market Access Manager

Company Overview

PROCEPT BioRobotics is a surgical robotics company focused on improving patient care through innovative urology solutions, including Aquablation therapy for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Role Overview

The Field Reimbursement & Market Access Manager will support reimbursement strategies that improve patient access to therapy and surgery, reduce reimbursement barriers for providers, and optimize market access for Aquablation in a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate and train new hospitals and practices on coding, coverage, payment, and patient authorization rules, regulations, and processes.
  • Organize and lead reimbursement education meetings for existing customers.
  • Serve as the primary ongoing reimbursement resource for hospital and practice customers.
  • Collaborate closely with field sales teams in the assigned geography.
  • Support Aquablation patients in understanding insurance coverage and payer appeals processes.
  • Solicit, analyze, present, and discuss customer financial data during periodic business reviews.
  • Work in a field-based role with significant travel.
Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of medical device reimbursement and/or health economics experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. private payers and Medicare coverage and payment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, education, writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to present effectively to physicians, physician offices, hospital administrators, and key opinion leaders.
  • Previous experience working closely with field sales teams.
  • Comfort working virtually with flexible workplace arrangements and business virtual technologies.
  • Ability to manage complex projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Proximity to a major airport is preferred.
